Our Mission
Team1K is an organization that is committed to fostering the growth and development of youth basketball players. We strive to help each player reach their full potential through excellence in coaching and mentorship.
Our Vision
The Team1K Organization’s focus is to create and promote mentorship within the program that will help our players be successful on the basketball court, in the classroom and in life.
Basketball is a major component of our organization; however, through the game of basketball we will focus on the whole child, not just the basketball player.

Code of Conduct & Responsibilities
As the director, I am committed to the successful running of the organization and each induvial team. I will participate in trainings and engage in professional development that will help the program to continually
grow and develop. I will not limit myself to the things listed above and will make necessary adjustments as
needed. I promise to go above and beyond for the betterment of the program.
It is the coaches’ responsibility to build long lasting rapport with the athlete. It is also their responsibility to
ensure the player is developmentally sound to compete on all levels of the playing field whether it’s
recreational, school ball, collegiate or beyond.
All coaches will do the following to ensure the development and growth of each individual player by committing to the below and going above and beyond what is expected.
- Conduct productive practices.
- Design a practice schedule and program that is dedicated to skill, drill, game type situations, knowing the rules and fundamentals of the game, and review game footage to correct team errors and ensure team
growth. - Lead by example and be a role model.
- Teach and instill good sportsmanship.
- Incorporate team building activities to build the chemistry and morale of the team Period.
- Instill discipline that is fundamental to basketball and life.
- Maintain communication to ensure the player,
- Does not have a failing grade (D or F) and remains in good academic standing.
- Has the required GPA to contend as a Middle or High Schooler.
- No discipline referrals.
- Consistently displays behavior that is conducive to their learning.
- Attend school functions when needed or possible.
